Human immunodeficiency virus damages the immune system and interferes with the body’s ability to fight infection and disease. HIV can be spread from one to another through contact with infected blood, semen or vaginal fluids. Only medications can control the infection because there is no cure for HIV/AIDS. When virus destroys immune cells from a human being then various symptoms can develop like, fever, chills, rash, night sweats, muscle aches, sore throat, fatigue and swollen lymph nodes. The main causes of AIDS are: having a sexual partner with HIV, having unprotected anal or vaginal sex, having multiple partners also increases the risk, using drugs and sharing needles or syringes etc.
